Flanders

We first saw Flanders at the beginning of October when he came into our emergency hospital because he wasn’t walking on his right back leg. After an examination from our Emergency Doctor, she found that he needed a TPLO, which would be his second TPLO in two years. He had his surgery here a few weeks ago and just started rehab here this week. Both Flanders and his owners, Michael and Abbey, have been friendly faces we love to see every time they’re here. Since Flanders has had many visits over the past two months and is wonderful to see every time, we have named him the patient of the month!

Hazel Basil

Hazel Basil came into our emergency hospital yesterday to get a cut stitched up and got a cool Crocodile bandaid in the process! We’re open 24/7 for all of your animal emergencies.

Heart Clinic

Our hospital was full of 16 beautiful doggies today for our All Breed Heart Clinic and we got all of the cuddles! 7 Pomeranians, 6 Cavaliers, and 3 Samoyeds came for heart screenings and we couldn’t be happier. A huge thank you to the Cavaliers of the West for partnering with us!

Flanders

Flanders came in again today to see us for his surgery, and he brought his little orange ball for his stay here! Can you get any cuter??

Mabel, Emerson, and Hildy

We had some new staff members start today who are very friendly and ready to help!

Pumpkin

We had an awesome group of 8 Cavaliers come in today for Echocardiogram rechecks!

Huckleberry

Huckleberry came in today to recheck a previously diagnosed pericardial effusion (fluid around the heart). He is very excited (well, as excited as this mellow fellow can get) to let everyone know that the fluid has not returned!

Maggie

Miss Maggie getting a tour around our hospital!

Flanders

We had a few friendly neighbors come into our ER yesterday, Flanders and his owners, to find out why Flanders wasn’t walking on his own. After an examination, Dr. Grimshaw found that he had a torn ligament, so we’ll be seeing these two again soon for surgery. Here are photos from an echo today to evaluate Flanders’ heart murmur and see if his heart is ready for surgery.

Princeton

Princeton came in last night and was treated for Pulmonary Hypertension. After an overnight stay at our hospital, lots of snuggles from our CVTs, and a little extra loving care from our CEO, he left this afternoon as happy as can be!
