Moshi

Moshi’s parents were worried about her because she had been having soft stool for the past week and just developed bloody diarrhea, so they brought her into our ER. We took a parvo test right away to make sure she didn’t have a serious virus, which was luckily negative.

Chai

The March Patient of the Month is Chai (who has the honor of being our first Cat featured)! He’s had quite a journey since we saw him at the end of February, with a few overnight visits and many checkups. He’s quickly become a regular at EVS and a patient we love seeing every time.

Nova

We’re already missing our snuggles with this little fluff that went home yesterday!

Anny

Anny was transferred to our cardiologist to evaluate a cough, worsening respiratory effort, and episodes of collapsing. After an echocardiogram, Anny was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension.

Leila & Pack

Leila came in for her recheck exam following recent hospitalization for heart failure likely caused by grain free diet (Earthborn) and brought the pack (Bentley and TeAti) to get a listen to their hearts!

Anja

Anja came into our cardiologist to evaluate a heart murmur. An echocardiogram revealed that she has mild heart disease and progression to severe disease is unlikely.

PeeWee

PeeWee was referred to our cardiologist for evaluation of labored breathing and a heart murmur. An echocardiogram found that he had Mitral valve degeneration, the most common acquired heart disease in small breed dogs which typically progresses slowly over time. In PeeWee’s case, this also resulted in Congestive Heart Failure. He was hospitalized overnight for treatment and monitoring, his breathing normalized, and he was able to go home the next afternoon.

Macy

Miss Macy came in for an echo and was all dolled up to see us!

Brady

It was such a treat to have Brady in our hospital.

Lola

Lola came into our hospital this weekend for evaluation of increased respiratory effort and abdominal swelling. Bloodwork, radiographs and an AFAST at Greenwood Village Veterinary Clinic found that she had tri-cavitary effusion (fluid around the heart, lungs, and abdomen), so she was transferred to our hospital for continued care.
