The role of the Marketing and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the organization’s marketing, communications and public relations activities for Evolution Veterinary Specialists.

Education and Experience

  • 2+ years of Marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Veterinary experience preferred

General Tasks

  • Help prepare, maintain and update annual marketing budget
  • Develop campaigns and media marketing strategies that promotes Evolution Veterinary Specialists and builds rapport with primary care veterinarians and the community
  • Create, execute and deploy marketing campaigns such as print, radio, broadcast, digital ads and building signage.
  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant data
  • Create and maintain weekly call list, call-report and off-site calendar for referrals and veterinary practice visits
  • Constant awareness of local veterinary market, veterinary hospitals, market potentials, and keeping current on changes that are taking place in these markets
  • Acts as the key liaison with local veterinary medical associations, other business and professional associations in the area.
  • Actively create and implement goal oriented, market-specific plans
  • Build, develop and maintain primary care veterinarian relationships through on-site visits, CE programs, email and social media campaigns, as well as lunch and learns
  • Organize community outreach through local events
  • Design constant contact fliers for the announcement of events
  • Create and update marketing materials
  • Update and maintain referral practice contact information in database
  • Assist in managing and using all social media platforms and client communications on those platforms
