Kari

Specialty Supervisor, VTS

Kari has spent her entire life within the veterinary field working alongside her veterinarian mother. However, Kari was considering a career in psychology and pursued her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at CSU. During that time, Kari was working at the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital and realized she wanted to be part of the healing process of our companion animals. She then went to the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology and started her new career as a Certified Veterinary Technician in emergency and critical care. Soon afterwards, Kari fell in love with the complicated world of internal medicine and obtained her Veterinary Technician Specialist certification in 2017. In her free time, Kari loves to hike, kayak, knit, and is currently in the process of building her own home from the ground up. Kari is a pet-parent to 2 dogs (Coraline and Lola), and 4 cats (Sebastian, Smooch, Indi, and Grayson).
