Dr. Christopher Ray

DVM, Residency Trained In Critical Care

Originally from the United Kingdom, Dr. Ray moved to Colorado in 2023 to complete an Emergency & Critical Care Residency at Colorado State University. During that time, he also earned his Master’s degree, successfully completing both programs in 2026.

Dr. Ray graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2019 before gaining experience in UK general practice and completing specialty internships in emergency and critical care at both the Royal Veterinary College and the University of Edinburgh. His training across multiple countries and institutions has given him a unique perspective on veterinary medicine and patient care.

His professional interests include cardiology, point-of-care ultrasound, and teaching—areas he continues to pursue alongside his clinical work.

When he’s not caring for patients, you’ll likely find him skiing, trail running, or exploring everything Colorado has to offer. He even hopes to join a mountain rescue team!
