DVM (Internal Medicine)

Dr. Amanda Garrick is originally from St. Louis Missouri. She completed veterinary school at the University of California, Davis followed by a year long rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. She has been in Colorado the past three years completing a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Colorado State University and is excited for the opportunity to remain in Colorado and join the team at Evolution Veterinary Specialists.

Dr. Garrick is interested in all aspects of internal medicine, and loves getting to see the broad scope of cases that the specialty encompasses. She is particularly interested in hepatology, nephrology, and auto immune disease.

In her free time Dr. Garrick likes to take advantage of Colorado’s beautiful outdoors; running, hiking, gardening, and paddle boarding. On the 50 days of the year when the sun is not shining, she likes to add to the very tall pile of partly finished books on her nightstand. She has two cats, Edsel and Victoria, and a bulldog mix named Daisy none of whom share her enthusiasm for staying active.
